At MaidsFinder, it is extremely important to us to provide as much privacy protection as possible. We treat your personal information with the utmost respect and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
By registering on this site to find a maid in Turkey, by creating a profile, submitting your resume, or submitting any information through the use of this site, or by otherwise accessing this site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and consent to the policies and practices described for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information.

Who We Are
1
This website is operated by MaidsFinder, accessible at https://www.maids-finder.com.

For any privacy-related question, you can reach our team directly using the contact details in Section 11 — you don't need to go through customer support.

What Data We Collect
1
Account Signup: Name, email address, and phone number when you create an account as a client or as a maid/service provider.
2
Browsing Data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically through standard server logs.
3
Comment Data: If you leave a comment on a blog post, we store the comment text, your name/email as entered, your IP address, and browser user-agent string — mainly to filter spam.
4
Uploaded Media: Photos you upload (e.g., profile pictures, resume attachments) — note that images can carry hidden location (GPS) data, which we recommend removing before upload.
4
Verification Documents: For maids registering as service providers, ID or reference documents submitted for background verification.
3
Cookies We Use
1
Comment Cookies: If you comment and choose "remember me," a cookie saves your name/email/website for a year so you don't retype it next time.
2
Login Cookies: A temporary cookie checks if your browser accepts cookies at login. Session login cookies last 2 days (2 weeks with "Remember Me"); display-preference cookies last a year. These clear automatically when you log out.
3
Editorial Cookie: If a team member edits a blog post, a cookie stores only the post ID for 1 day — no personal data involved.
4
You can block or delete cookies anytime in your browser settings; some site features (like staying logged in) may stop working if you do.
4
Content Embedded from Other Sites
1
Some pages may embed content from other platforms (e.g., a YouTube video or a map). When you interact with embedded content, that third-party site may set its own cookies and track your activity — exactly as if you'd visited it directly. We don't control that data collection.
5
Gravatar & Comment Photos
1
When you comment, we may send a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address to Gravatar to check if you have a profile picture there. If your comment is approved, that picture appears publicly next to your comment. Gravatar's own policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
6
Password Resets & Spam Filtering
1
If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the automated reset email for security logging.
2
Comments submitted on the site are automatically screened by a spam-detection service before publishing.
7
How Long We Keep Your Data
1
Comments are kept indefinitely, so returning commenters aren't stuck in a moderation queue every time.
2
If you have a registered account, your profile data is kept as long as your account stays active. You can view, edit, or delete most of it yourself anytime from your account settings (except your username).
3
Verification documents submitted by maids are kept only as long as needed for the verification process, after which they're securely deleted unless we're legally required to keep them longer.
8
Who We Share Data With
1
We don't sell your personal data to anyone.
2
When a booking is made, we share only what's needed (name, contact info) between the client and the matched maid, so they can coordinate the job.
3
We share data with service vendors who run parts of our infrastructure for us — hosting, payment processing, spam filtering — and only to the extent needed for them to do that job.
9
Your Choices
1
Export: Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (account details, comments, etc.).
2
Delete: Ask us to erase your personal data. We'll do so unless we're required to keep certain records for legal, tax, or security reasons.
3
Correct: Log into your account anytime to fix inaccurate details yourself, or ask us to do it for you.
10
Where Data Physically Goes
1
Our servers and vendors may be located in Turkey or in other countries. Wherever your data is processed, we require appropriate safeguards to keep it protected.
